Kenneth Nilsen

Nilsen, Kenneth L., age 78. Died from surgical complications. "Papa" spent his entire life devoted to his family, friends and country. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service and dedicated member of American Legion Post 334 and the V.F.W. He will be forever missed by his wife of 58 years, Lorraine; daughter, Patty (Butch) Sherburne; granddaughter, Penny (Guy) Cierzan; grandson, Daniel Sherburne; great-grandsons, Lukey and Noah; brother, Arthur Nielsen; sister, Edna Winkleman; and many nephews, nieces and his friends at his club. He was preceded in death by his beloved little daughter, Penny Lee. Service Wednesday, 1 PM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation Tuesday, 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
