Kenneth Quade

Kenneth "Kenny" Alan Quade, (1951 - 2024), was a very well-known, dynamic and contributing member of Minneapolis, Hampton and Padua, Minnesota communities. He is survived by his partner Jackie Mcleod, his son, Daniel J. Quade, grandson, Chester K. Quade, brothers, Richard Quade and Michael Quade, sister Renee Quade and with family honors, Sylvia Quade.

Kenny was most well known for his passion for farming and horse racing. He farmed in Hampton, MN for over 35 years and was always helping those in the community. Kenny created Quades Quarters in 1985 and loved raising and racing horses. His passion for horses made him an avid supporter of This Old Horse, a non-profit organization who give horses a safe harbor to live out their lives. In addition to farming and his horses, Kenny was a loyal employee of the distribution center for Snyder Drug for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Margorie (Doege) Quade, and his sister Audrey Starr.

The family would like to acknowledge his great friend and fellow business partner, Paul Hoffman, head horseman, Mario Torres, and horse manager, Becky McDowell. Kenny was blessed by all of his family and friends.

The service will be held at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 3131 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis, MN on September 12th with visitation from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and service to follow.
