Kwuame Roger Young was born August 6th, 1990 in St. Paul, MN. He graduated high school and went on to pursue a career in Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu.

Kwuame was a phenomenal son, brother, father and friend. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for those that he loved and cared about. Kwuame was very protective over his family was would be that first to jump into protective mode whenever he felt the action was necessary. He had a passion for cooking and later in life became fond of rapping. Kwuame’s smile would light up the room and his personality caused those around him to instantly have a sense of happiness and comfort.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories but carry on his legacy, parents, Stanley & Diana young; siblings, Sonya Young, Stanley Young, Anthony Young, Juanita Losoya-Young, and John Losoya; his 3 beautiful children, Kwuame Young, Aaliyah Young and Xavier Young; god-daughter, Sonya Young (Lil’ YaYa). Last but not least, a huge amount of family and friends that he considered near and dear to his heart.

On Sunday, August 2nd, 2020 God called Kwuame home. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Edgar & Inez Young and Alejo & Luz Losoya; grandparents, Ynosente & Juanita Losoya; uncle, David Losoya; and his brother from another mother, Billy Ray Smith Jr.

A funeral service will be Sunday, August 9 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church (712 Burr St., St. Paul) with visitation one hour prior to the service.
