Mitchell, Larry Roy Sr., "Shawnese" Of the Prairie Band Potawatomi, 56 years, passed away on November 16, 2007. He joined his mother, Alberta Wamego, six years to the day. Highly decorated Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Proud to be an Honored Veteran of his tribe. Author of Potawatomi Tracks. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Kathryn (Katie) Mitchell; his two sons; friends and family. Larry was a husband who helped to make his wife's wishes and dreams come true.
