Simonson, Larry Lee
Age 54 of Stillwater
Passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2012. Larry was the 2003 founder, owner and operator of ARCH Services Inc, a local appliance repair company. He was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion in Stillwater Post 48, the Saint Croix Yacht Club, and the Stillwater Elks and Eagles clubs. As alias Starbuck Bohman he belonged to the Single Action Shooters Society and Wisconsin Old West Shooters. He was an avid boater, RV'er, jeep rock climber and collector of unusual memorabilia. Larry worked hard on his home and yard and loved seeing the beautiful results of his efforts. He could sing a good tune and old Country music was his favorite. As many people know he loved sharing jokes and could tell them well. Above all, Larry's family and friends meant the world to him. Survived by his wife of 15 years, Joyce; children, Kenneth Paul, Kristen (Nick) Shimkus, Karla, Krystal (Barb) Ericson and Nicholas; grandson, Ayden; parents, Allen and Ellen; brother, Les (Sharon); sister, Lanae (Yoerg) Paaverud; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Larry's family will donate memorials to organizations that support our troops and veterans. A Celebration of Larry's Life will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 14 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5), Stillwater with Visitation 4 to 7 Friday, April 13 and one hour prior to the Saturday service all at Bradshaw.
