Laurel Jones

Age 27 Formerly of Saint Paul. Laurel graduated from Mounds Park Academy, 2002; Bowdoin College, 2006 (Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude). She was in her fifth yearof medical school at AucklandUniversity, New Zealand, having been awarded 'best fourth yearstudent' in general practice and the one with the highest patient satisfaction rating. Laurel died on 4/9/11. She is survived by her parents, David Jones and Kate Pfaffinger; brother, Owen; partner, Kurt Martin; grandmother, Vivian Pfaffinger; five aunts & uncles; numerous cousins; and a world full loving, grieving other friends. Memorial Service Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at UNITY CHURCH-UNITARIAN, corner of Portland and Grotto, St. Paul. Visitation Tuesday,5-8 P.M. (viewing 5-6 P.M.) at UNITY CHURCH-UNITARIAN (parking available at the corner of Portland and St. Albans). Burial at Oakland Cemetery, Marine on St. Croix.
