Lawrence Wayne Allen was born July 25, 1950 to the late John and Juanita Allen in Chicago, IL.

Larry was educated in the Catholic and Public School System.  He attended Saint Benedict Military Academy in Eau Claire Wisconsin.  In 1970 Larry was drafted into the United States Army and served his country proudly.

He served in the 2d BPO Vietnam support unit stationed in Fort Hamilton New York.

When he returned home to Chicago Larry decided to further his education. In 1983 he graduated with an Associate degree in accounting from The Loop Community College.  Also, in 1983 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science for Business from Devry Institute of Technology.

L/A’s favorite vacation pleasure was his love of cruising.  He holidayed on many infamous Tom Joyner, Jazz and Caribbean Cruises. It was like seeing the world one ship at a time and feeling like life’s routines and job stresses was far behind.

“Lawrence Allen was affectionately known as Larry to his large and well known extended family, the Weaver Clan of Trenton, New Jersey.  Larry, his brother Sonny, and their mother, Juanita (nee Weaver) were beloved in our family and will be truly missed.”

To many he was also known as Larry, L/A and affectionately his dad would call him Lawrence.

Larry was a phenomenal son, brother, cousin, friend, & uncle.

On Sunday Aug 2nd, 2020 Lawrence, passed away due to complications from the Coronavirus.

His parents and brother preceded him in reuniting with our lord and savior.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory:
