STANGER, Lawrence Eugene
Age 92 - formerly of St. Paul
Passed away comfortably in daughter and son-in-law's home on December 31.
Lawrence was an Air Force Veteran and firefighter with the St. Paul Fire Department culminating his career as Assistant Chief of Operations. He was dedicated to his family and served his community by volunteering with Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity. Larry also had a passion for travel and sailing.
He is preceded in death by wife, Helen; sister, Shirley; and brother, Robert.
Survived by daughters, Kathy (Pete) Stoehr; Colleen (Gary) Firkus; sons, Paul (MaryBeth); Tom (Janice); and Rich; Grandchildren, Annemarie, Christopher, Alicia, Lisa, Michael, Joe, Claire, Jon and Sarah; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, James.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, beginning at 3 PM, with a Time of Remembrance at 5 PM, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Habitat for Humanity.
