Age 87 of Garrison, formerly of Fridley went home on August 24, 2006. Preceded in death by wife, Alvina, brother, Phil, sister, Kaye, granddaughter, Jill Marie and great-granddaughter, Allison Mabel. Survived by children, Lee E. (Aneita), Sharyle Knutson and Barbara Hitzeman; grandchildren, Steve (Lisa), Linda (Brian), Cady (Dave), Jen (John), Becky (Brad), Jessica (Brian) and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Hannah, Kelly, Chase, Alex, Ethan, Jack, Ben, Leah, Molly, Josie and Logan; brother, Ed (Vera); other relatives and friends. Service Monday 11AM at MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2848 County Rd. H2, Mounds View. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Oak Leaf Cemetery, East Bethel. Memorial Service _____ at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, Garrison, MN. Memorials preferred to Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, Garrison, MN 56450.
