Went peacefully home to be with our Lord. Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Dear Friend to all who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Elizabeth Strommer; brothers, Joseph, John, Stephan, and Henry; sisters, Marie Strommer and Helen Boisen. Survived by loving husband of 60 years, Thomas; children, Diane (Mark) Nelson, Christine (Richard) Foline, Mary Jo (James) Rehberger, Rita (Mark) Sager, Theresa (James) Knutson, Thomas & fiancA�, Dawn, Jolene (Shawn) Honkomp; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Leona?s loving and caring personality along with her positive attitude were a true gift. We miss her dearly and will always remember her as an inspiration and example to live a full, happy, loving, and faithful life.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 10:30AM at CHURCH OF SAINT BERNARD, 197 W. Geranium. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 5-8PM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice at Magnolia, and also one hour prior to Mass at church. Memorials preferred to HealthEast Hospice or to St. Bernard?s Parish.
