Leora Rosalie (Lee) Petro age73. Born in Morris, MN. Lived in Chokio, Alexandria, Sauk Rapids, MN. She moved to Minneapolis as a teenager with her parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Met surviving husband, Andrew (Don) just before 4th sister was born. Lee became a mother of 4 boys and 2 girls and enjoyed the challenges and rewards. She taught Sunday School and worked at a church pre-school. She then helped plan and attended weddings of her children and then had grandchildren over a period of 20 years. Lee and Don celebrated 53 years of marriage in May She loved her family (immediate and extended) and friends at church and will be greatly missed by husband, Andrew (Don); children, Scott (Becky), Dave (Tina), Bob (Janet), Jim (Roberta), Julie (Vern) Schmit and Linda Petro; grandchildren, Joe, Dan, Heather, Ben, Monica, Zach, Michael, Libby, Alaina and Amanda. Visitation Wednesday 4 ? 8 p.m. with a time of sharing 7:30 p.m. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge) 3131 Minnehaha Ave. Service Thursday 11 a.m. at CHRIST CHURCH LUTHERAN, 3244 ? 34TH Ave. So. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment, Hillside. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
