Call, Leslie W.

Everyone's Friend

Les was born in December of 1920 in St James, MN to Caroline and Ted Call. They preceded him in death along with his brother, Cliff. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eunice; his children, Lorna (Gene LaFond) and Greg (Kathleen Thiede Call); grandchildren, Ben (Jodi Gerdes) and Andrew LaFond and John and Emma Call; sister, Harriet Hager; in-laws, Fern Call, Dorothy Warling, Ivan and Mary Larson, Larry and Marge Larson; many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of WWII, active volunteer in Boy Scouts and a 60 year member of Typographical Union. He approached life with an open heart, an offer to help and an eye for detail. Les was charming, honest, friendly, full of integrity and the perfect neighbor. We are at a loss to describe the hole he leaves in our lives. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM Monday, Feb 25 with visitation 3-6PM Sunday, Feb 24 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Interment Ft Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are welcomed to Lakeview Hospice, Stillwater.
