Leslie A. Joslin

Leslie A. Joslin, 61, of Woodbury, Minnesota, passed away on January 22, 2025.

Born on July 20, 1963, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Leslie was the youngest of four children born to George Buys (Jessie) and Patricia Tate-Wolfington. She graduated from Frank B. Kellogg High School in 1981 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Services from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1986.

Leslie spent the last ten years of her career as a child care licensor for the state of Minnesota. She pursued this role with determination, first applying in 1995, and it became a dream fulfilled.

Her knowledge and passion for her work made a lasting impact in the field.

In 1988, Leslie married Michael Joslin in Stillwater, Minnesota. They settled in Woodbury, where they raised their two children, Jesse and Sara.

Outside of her career, Leslie had a deep love for gardening, scrapbooking, puzzles, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and loving nature, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

Leslie was preceded in death by her father, George Buys; father-in-law, Robert Joslin; and mother-in-law, Millie Joslin. She is survived by her husband, Michael Joslin; children, Jesse and Sara Joslin; mom, Patricia Tate-Wolfington; bonus mom, Jessie Buys; siblings, Mitzi Krueger (Brad), Brad Buys (Amy), and Dawn Klawitter (Mike), along with their children; as well as brothers-in-law, Joe Joslin (Micki) and Jim Joslin (Kari) and their children. Leslie was also a proud aunt to ten nieces and nephews and twelve grandnieces and grandnephews.

A visitation in Leslie's honor will take place on Sunday, February 9, at 1:00 p.m. at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Stillwater, Minnesota, with a funeral service to follow at 3:30 p.m.
