Age 77 of Stillwater

Passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024 at The Lakes at Stillwater - Memory Care. Linda graduated from Santa Paula High School in 1965. She married Bill Marshall on April 3, 1966 in the church that her father helped build - Trinity Lutheran Church in Santa Paula, California. When her father died when she was 11 years old, Linda became the caretaker for her family while her mother ran the family jewelry store. She worked for many years in accounting with the State of Minnesota's Department of Corrections in Oak Park Heights. Linda was always happy and smiling for anyone who walked into the room. She loved gardening, photography, cooking, baking, sewing, and weaving. She participated in volunteer work including her children's Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops. Linda and Bill lived in Germany during his time in the military, and she enjoyed his interest in astronomy. She loved family canoeing and camping trips and visiting National Parks especially Yellowstone and her childhood favorite Buck's Lake, CA. Celebrating the holidays with her family and friends were cherished moments. At the end of the day, she loved a good margarita on the patio!

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Virginia Handrock; and nephew, Jason.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill; children, Chuck (Jill), Cara (Bruce) Frafjord; grandchildren, Jacob, Victoria, and James; and siblings, Ron (Rochella) Handrock and Warren "Butch" (Jamie) Handrock.

A gathering to celebrate Linda's life will be held from 2-4pm on Tuesday, October 1st at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater. Private Family Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association, The Lakes of Stillwater - Memory Care, or Gentiva Hospice.
