Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at The Pillars in Oakdale, MN after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was the wife of Jerry Wohlers with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Linda was born in Stillwater, MN on December 11, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Eulah Schmoeckel. Linda was a graduate of Stillwater High School and earned her degree in Cosmetology at Ritter Beauty School. Linda married the love of her life Jerry, and they continued to be residents of Stillwater, MN. Linda was a very active member of Salem Lutheran Church in Stillwater, where she served as a member of Ladies Guild for many years. She spent many hours working on her favorite hobby, crafting. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her time with family. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Wohlers; one son, Scott Wohlers and friend Tammy Neumann; two daughters, Debra Behrends and husband William; Kristin Marchand and husband Kenneth; two sisters, Sally Dalluhn and Joyce Brown; twelve grandchildren; Gayle, Kayla, James, Brian, Natalie, Jaclyn, Jaime, Shannon, Hope, Jack, Madelyn, Joseph and spouses, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Salem Lutheran Church, 14940 62nd St N, Stillwater, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service beginning at noon. Memorials preferred to Hope Kids or Salem Lutheran Church. In honor of Linda, wear pink or purple to the funeral.
