Age 89, of Stillwater passed away peacefully with his family at his side on October 27, 2016. Preceded in death by wife, Gloria; sister, Dorothy Aherns and parents. Survived by children, Linda (John) Thomes, Bob (Becky), Greg (Jill), Carol (John) Swanson and Gary (Darla); sister, Ruby Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Lloyd proudly served in the US military during WWII. He served as Constable and was a volunteer firefighter for the city of Marine on St. Croix. Spent his career at American Hoist and Derrick. Lloyd was known for his passion of rebuilding anything broken and constantly finding ways to improve existing designs. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 31st at 1PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., (NW Corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5) Stillwater with a visitation beginning at 11 AM. Private Interment Oakland Cemetery, Marine on St Croix. Memorials are preferred to Ostomy Association of St. Paul or Parmly LifePointes Honor Guard.
