Lois Dettmann

Lois Ann Dettmann, age 87, of Hugo, went peacefully into the Lord’s arms with family at her side on June 29, 2022.

Mom cherished her husband, her faith and her children. She was happiest when family members stopped in for dinner whether it was weekdays or holidays. She loved traveling in their Airstream and her numerous friends at the Airstream Park, bowling partners Jan and Don and her fellow Hen’s club ladies . A special thanks to Samara, Michelle and the staff at Good Life for providing mom with the best care possible this year.

Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary Koemptgen; love of her life, husband, Ron; and grandson, Mike Ozruh.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Frank) Wegleitner, Sue (Bob) Hager, Tom (Sandy) Dettmann, and Chris (Troy) Pugsley; brother, Bob (Carol) Koemptgen; grandchildren, Ryan, Sara, Katie, Nick, Celia, Giovanni, and Jason; and 7 great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial held at 11AM, Wednesday, July 27, at the CHURCH OF ST. GENEVIEVE, 6995 Centerville Rd. Visitation at 9:30AM prior to Mass. Luncheon to follow the service. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers, and may be made in Lois' memory to Sharing and Caring Hands.
