Lois Swenson

Lois Marie Swenson, age 81 of Minneapolis, passed away November 12, 2020. She was a loving Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Aunt and Friend.  She pursued her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse, a career she held for a remarkable 51 years.  After retirement she continued her passion as a Parish Nurse for many years at Bethany Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, especially time with her grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, George & Lucille and husband of 52 years Floyd “Bud” Swenson.  Survived by son Jeff (Melissa), daughter Marie Hechsel (David) grandchildren Matt (Kayla), Mitch, Stephanie, Brady, Brett, Ethan, Amy, great granddaughter Harper and many loving family and friends.  There will be a visitation and service held.
