Services for Lola G. Widmyer (nee Gerdes), age 51, of Afton will be held Monday, 11:00 A.M. at REDEEMING LOVE CHURCH, 2425 White Bear Avenue, Maplewood. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at REDEEMING LOVE CHURCH and also one hour prior to the service.
Lola went peacefully home to Heaven on the evening of October 11, 2005. Preceded in death by father, Walter Gerdes. Survived by loving husband of 35 years, David; mother, Leona Gerdes; daughters, Ammie Krogseng (Daniel), Gina Kelly (Brian), Jessica, Krystine, and Amanda; son, Joshua; grandchildren, Isaiah, Mariah, Samuel, Brendon, Nicholas, and Trinity; numerous foster-sons and daughters; many other relatives and friends. Lola enjoyed her work as a Registered Nurse at Hudson Hospital.
