Born May 1, 1921 on the family homestead near Fairbank, Iowa. She passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2009 in the company of her husband of 68 years. She received her degree in Elementary Education from Upper Iowa University. Remembered for being a loving wife, mother & homemaker. Famous for her fried chicken and cherry pie. She loved to fish, bowl and an avid Vikings, Twins and Gophers fan. Through her needlework & sewing keepsakes, her legacy will live on. Preceded in death by parents, John & Austa Goeller, brother, Wendell Goeller, sons, Hadley, Rodney and Daryl and son-in-law, William Lucich. Survived by husband, Russell; children, Dale, Dany (Judy), Lynn Lucich, Karen (James) Larson, Susan (Ed) Boeve and Jennifer (Mark) Hamlet; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Robert) Bates; sister-in-law, Norma Bartholomew; many other relatives and friends. Service Saturday 4PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd.(NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5). Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Sunday 2PM at Union Chapel Cemetery in Ira, Iowa. Memorials preferred.
