A funeral service for Louise Wachter, age 85, of Afton, will be held on Monday, Feb. 10, 11:00 a.m., at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 880 Neal Ave. S., in Afton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 4 - 8 p.m. at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 6061 Osgood Ave. N., in Stillwater, and one hour before service at church.
Interment will be held at St. Peter Cemetery in Afton.
Mrs. Wachter died on Thursday, February 6, 2003.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Roy Porth and Carl Wachter; daughter, Virginia Chirhart; parents, Edward and Augusta Schindeldecker; and brother, Frank Schindeldecker.
She is survived by daughter, Eloise (Peter) Lind; son-in-law, James (Judith) Chirhart; stepchildren, Marjorie Holt, Roger (Lori) Wachter, Glenn (Jeanne) Wachter, and Sharon Wachter; grandchildren, Tony, Todd, Sara Lind, Steven (Melony) Chirhart, Chad Chirhart, Kim, Kris and Kirk Holt, Kristin (Brian) Melendez, Sara (Qui) Hong, Bryan Wachter, Michele (Mark) Eernisse, Matthew and Lindsay Peterson; great grandchildren, Derek and Brett Holt, Melissa Holt, Eric and James Melendez, and Joshua Eernisse; sisters, Emma Fritsche, Frieda (Lloyd) Freberg; brothers, Edwin (Gladys) Schindeldecker, and Alvin Schindeldecker; sister-in-law, Betty Schindeldecker; and many nieces and nephews.
