Passed away peacefully on August 1, 2017, age 97. Preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Marion; brother, Gordon. Survived by children, Michael (Gail), Jan, and John; grandchildren, Tiffany, Brian, Brad and Jennifer; 8 great-grandchildren. Retired engineer (Honeywell), business owner, musician, bodybuilder (Mr. Minnesota 1960), WWII and Korea decorated veteran, US Coast Guard. Visitation Monday, August 7, 5-7pm at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. Interment Tuesday, August 8, 11am at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area 5. Memorials preferred to Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church. Special thanks to the devoted staff at Minneapolis Veterans Home.
