Age 86 of Stillwater Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother Passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, Edith and Robert Ingalls; brother, Rexford; infant granddaughter, Lauren. Survived by Richard, the love of her life and husband of 62 years; children, Richard Robert, Ann Elizabeth (Mike) Bailey, Lisa Barbara (Mark) Gilbertson; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Melanie Bailey and Richard, Heidi, Robert Caldecott. Lucille was born in New West Minster, British Columbia on August 22, 1923. Richard and Lucille were married on August 16, 1947 in New West Minster and immigrated to the United States shortly thereafter. Lucille completed her bachelors and masters degrees at the University of Minnesota in Food Science and Nutrition and was employed by the Department until she retired in 1988. Upon retirement she continued her service to the University as a volunteer with the University of Minnesota Hospital Auxiliary. She was given the WCCO Good Neighbor Award in 2007 for her service to the Auxiliary. Lucille was a kind and gentle woman who was dearly loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Special thanks for their kindness to the family are tendered to Judy Bergman, the Stillwater Hospice volunteers and Lucille's neighbors on Moonlight Bay. A Private Memorial Service will be held for close friends and family.
