Lucille (Benzschawel)

Beloved mother, grandmother,

great-grandmother

Lucille passed away peacefully on December 6, 2020, just one day after her 92nd birthday. She is survived by her children, Debbie, Al (Karen), Janet, Sue (Lewis), Carol; grandchildren, Pat, Dan, Jerad, Jen, Randy, Jill, Rachel, Drew; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann, Jane, Barbara, Ruth, Doris; and a host of nieces and nephews. She’s been welcomed in heaven by those who predeceased her: husband, Edward; son, Donald; brothers, Ervin, Bernard, Wilbur, and Alvin.  Lu lived her life dedicated to faith, family and fun.  You were never likely to find her idle and throughout the seasons of her life she enjoyed gathering with family and friends, keeping busy with her many hobbies, and extending a helping hand, or being a caring listener, to those in need.  Private family Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Monday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Stillwater. For those unable to attend, a livestream broadcast of the service can be viewed at:
