LUETTA "LU" CROONQUIST
February 7, 1913 - October 10, 2014, of Stillwater, MN & Renton, WA. Luetta was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Robert, and her eldest son, Richard.
Born in Stillwater, Lu lived there until 2003 when she & Robert moved to Renton, WA to live with her son, John. Lu's survived by: two sons, John (Liz) & Jim (Cheryl) Croonquist; grandchildren John Croonquist, Jr & Alisa Garcia; 6 great-grandchildren; and some distant cousins.
Lu's employment was Clerk of Family Court at Washington County Courthouse until retirement in 1976. She was a lifetime member of St Paul Lutheran Church, having been baptized (1913), confirmed (1926), and married (1936) there; she was a Sunday school teacher, choir member and offering-counting team member at St. Paul's.
Memorial service Thursday, October 23, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater. Private interment Fairview Cemetery. Family will receive friends at a reception at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 609 South Fifth Street, Stillwater, following the service.
Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church preferred in lieu of flowers.
