Preceded in death by wife, Beverly Olson; children, Leah Hammer and Gary Strong; parents, Herman & Anne; brothers, Juel, Sr., Herschell, Everette, and Herman, Jr.; sisters, Ione Estley and Shirley Coleman. Survived by daughter, Francelia Hammer; special grand-daughter, Lindsay Hammer; brother, Joe, Sr.; sisters, Lois Goodwin and Jackie Fairbanks; many nieces, nephews and friends. Wake beginning Monday, 7:00 P.M. at CHURCH OF BLESSED GICHITWAA KATERI, 3045 Park Avenue, Minneapolis. Additional wake Tuesday beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Sports Complex and Mass Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at St Anne's Catholic Church in Naytahwaush, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
