Age 75 formerly of Belcourt & Grand Forks, ND passed away October 9, 2012 surrounded by his family. Lyle was employed as a roofer for Greenberg Roofing and Olson Roofing. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching sports and loved being with his family and friends. Survived by children, Lyle Jr.(Cindy) and Brenda (Dale) Tuma; grandchildren, Bryan, Carisa & Jason; great-grandchildren, Tyson & Reese; brother, Floyd (Nancy) Olson; sister-in-law, Ulla Olson; several nieces, nephews and good friend, Earl DeCoteau. Lyle is preceded in death by his parents, Simon & Mabel (Swanson) Olson, sisters, Stella (Richard) Willerton & Lorraine (Bernard) Halvorson; brothers, Mervin &Chester and special friend, Mary Ann Ronning. Funeral Service Wednesday 11AM at WOODLAND HILLS CHURCH, 1740 Van Dyke Street, St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Bagley Cemetery, Bagley, MN at a later date.
