Lynda Mom

Lynda Vannen Mom, aged 41, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and loving mother to her cat, Twitch, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at home in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota.

A fashion model, photographer and designer, Lynda possessed a fiercely independent identity and inimitable style. She loved music and dance, and brimmed with joy, quick wit, and biting humor. She was a seeker--bold, intelligent, and creative, uncompromising in her search for emotional truth and honesty, and unsatisfied to follow anyone else's path.

Lynda was born in Missouri, the youngest of three sisters. She moved with her family to St. Paul, Minnesota and later graduated from Mounds View High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She lived and worked for years in New York City before moving to Arlington, Virginia, and then returning to Minnesota where she adopted Twitch from the Animal Humane Society. Lynda was unbending in her love for her family and always stood ready to defend her community. A vibrant soul, departed from this world far too soon, Lynda will be deeply missed.
