Marcella Thorene

Passed away peacefully on December 9, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Tore and Anna Thorene; brothers, Ellsworth and Woodrow; sisters, Tyra, Lyela, Vendla (Louis) Parent, Margaret (Robert) Graham; and nephew, Robert Parent. Survived by great-nephews, Greg and Jeff (Janet); niece-in-law, Darlene Parent; great-great niece and nephews, Ally, Jacob, and Nicholas Parent. Marcella started working for Whalen Insurance in the 1930's and owned the company from 1971 to 2017. She was also a secretary/manager of German Farmers Mutual for 30 years. She was an avid supporter of animal rescue and care organizations.
