Margaret Bettendorf

Margaret A Bettendorf, formerly from Roseville and Shoreview, passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 92. Born in St. Paul, MN on February 17, 1932, to Alex and Frances Vineski who proceeded her in death along with husband Robert Bettendorf, son Thomas Bettendorf, daughter in law Michelle Bettendorf, brothers Len Vineski (June), Gene Vineski (Rita) and Bob Vineski (Marge).

Survived by daughter in law Dianne, children Steve (Suzie), James, Barb Reber (John), Kathy Henke (Brad), Richard (Nicole), stepdaughter Kathy Henry, grandchildren Shannon, Brian, Julie, Dave, Tim, Laura, Dan, Eric, Jenny, Tony, Kristy, Nicole, Scott, Sarah and Nick. Marge also has 16 beloved great grandchildren.

Marge was a woman with many interests including playing cards, bingo, crafts, horseracing, visiting the casinos and music. She was a lifelong lover of animals, having raised and shown dogs before switching to raising and showing Persian cats. In her younger days, she loved riding her horse "Pet". She was also a passionate fan of the Vikings and the Wild, loving the fall and winter sports seasons. But her most passionate love was her family and spending time at their lake home on Lake Wapogasset.

There will be a private family service and a private interment at Roselawn Cemetery in Roseville.
