Margaret "Maggie" Holmberg, 95, longtime resident of the Good Samaritan Residence of Stillwater and Croixdale Residence of Bayport, died peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2010, at Good Samaritan.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl W. Olson; second husband, Robert L "Bob" Holmberg; as well as her brothers, John and Frank "Doc" Butorac.
Maggie was born March 5, 1915, in Hibbing, and lived most of her life there, where she was a homemaker and mother.
After the death of her second husband Bob, she moved to the Stillwater area to be near her daughter Corrine and family.
She is survived by daughter Corrine and son-in-law Val Watson; four grandchildren Carly (Watson) Kohler and her husband Ed, Luke Watson and his wife Georganne, Quinn and Jake Watson as well as nieces and nephews.
Maggie's family extends a special thank you to the staff of Good Sam who made Maggie happy to the end.
A celebration of Maggie's life will be held Thursday May 13, 2010, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (northwest corner of Highway 36 and County Road 5) in Stillwater, with visitation at 2 p.m. and a service at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Janet Wheelock of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension will preside.
Kristin Workman, fianc?e of Quinn Watson, will provide piano accompaniment to the service.
Maggie will be interned in the Butorac family plot at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
