Margaret 'Mark' Rafferty
Age 91 of St. Paul
Her family was everything to her and her first question was always 'what can I do to help you?' She was a reader, a traveler, a shopper, a volunteer, an animal lover, and a care giver. Raising six children kept her very busy for many years. Our lunches were packed every morning and dinner was waiting every night. We also all knew what she meant when she would threaten to get out the wooden spoon- even though it was never used. She was proud of her Irish heritage and had that Irish sense of humor. She loved to reminisce about her parents and siblings and the things they did when growing up. Summers on Lake Minnewashta, taking the street car on University Ave., walking home after the toboggan mishap at Como Park, her mother's reaction to a onetime date showing up with a suitcase full of clanking bottles and about the day her skirt fell down as she was waiting for a taxi outside the St. Paul Hotel. She will be missed by her family and by the many good friends that were part of her life over the years.

Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Richard, her parents and siblings. Survived by children Mary, Tim (Dawn), Terry, Pat, Brian, Megan (Mark Lewis). Grandchildren Colleen, Krissie (Mike) Bohlsen, Nolan, Kelsey (Robbie) McCollum and Max Arvidson. Great grandsons Owen Bohlsen and Mason McCollum, her in-laws George Rafferty, Bob and Grace Marie Nord, and Robert and Peggy Rafferty and all her Milotzky and Rafferty nieces and nephews. Private burial service. Memorials to The Pillars Hospice Home, Oakdale, MN.

Visitation and funeral service will be at St. Pascal Baylon Church in St. Paul. Visitation is November 20th from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral service is November 21st at 10:30 am with visitation starting 1 hour before. There will be a luncheon following the service at the church. Private burial service.
