Margaret Theresa Roitero

Margaret T. Roitero (Kane), age 93,
of Minneapolis Minnesota, passed
away peacefully the morning of
August 29 th , 2023. She was born
April 17 th , 1930 in Minneapolis to
parents Grace and Leo Kane. Marge
and Harry Roitero married on
September 13 th , 1952 and had two
children, Debbie and Anthony.
Marge worked at the Minneapolis
Star Tribune for over 35 years and
received multiple awards and
recognitions during her career.
Marge loved her job and colleagues
and retired in 2008. In her free time,
Marge enjoyed spending time at the
lake with family and friends,
dancing, shopping, gardening,
laughing and going out to dinner
with her family, and drinking Diet
Coke. She is survived by her sister
Carolyn Abramson, children Debbie
Kiekow (John) and Anthony Roitero
(current partner Lisa and former-
spouse Shelley), grandchildren
Nicholas Kiekow (Sara), Daniel
Kiekow, Amber Roitero (Andy),
Michael Kiekow, Dustin Roitero
(Sam), and Dylan Roitero, and great-
grandchildren Benjamin and Abigail
Kiekow. She was preceded in death
by her husband Harry Roitero
(December 6 th , 2008). Visitation
services will begin on Saturday,
September 9 th at 10 AM at Bradshaw
Funeral and Cremation Services,
3131 Minnehaha Ave, in
Minneapolis. Service and reception
