Marian Nelson

Age 84 Passed away peacefully on October 20, 2017. Preceded in death by her parents Fred and Martha Deaner, husband Lester and sister Betty Alberg (Deaner). Marian is survived by her three sons Jeff (Heidi), Brad (Nancy), and Hugh; her five grandchildren Joshua, Melissa, Kristin, Sarah and Brett; eleven great grandchildren; brother James (Marilyn) Deaner; sister Carol Berglund; friends and extended family members. Marian was born and raised on a farm north of Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School. She married Lester Nelson on October 31, 1952 in Fort Knox, Kentucky just prior to Lester's deployment to Korea. In 1959 they purchased a farm in Marine on St. Croix where they raised their three boys and lived until their passing. Marian enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 25th at 11 AM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. W., Stillwater, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service.
