Mariano "Mort" STELLA, age 92 of Maplewood, passed away unexpectedly on May 31. Preceded in death by wife of nearly 70 years, Florence; many siblings. Survived by daughters, Victoria (Darrell) Johnson, Cindy (Tom) Bush, Debbie (Tom) Gebauer; grandchildren, Nicole (John) Kiernan, Heather (Doug) McCoy, Joshua (Kelly) Gebauer, Kacie (Mark) Allen, April O'Hara; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Hailey, Zachary, Savannah, Victoria, Elizabeth, Kendell, Kailen, Avery, Colton; sister, Mickey Twardovski; friends and family. A former Ramsey County Sherriff's deputy, Mort was a kind and generous person and liked to tell stories about his childhood and experiences in WWII. Funeral service will be 11AM Tuesday, Jun 7 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials preferred to St. Jude Children's Research.
