Died peacefully on 9-17-04. Preceded in death by husbands, Morris Cook and Paul Lux Thone; sisters, Florence and Hazel; brother, Howard and loving son, Paul H. Thone. Survived by daughter, Laura Thone Tauer; brother, Donald W. Lange (Betty); 6 grandchildren, Joe Tauer, Jim Tauer, Pam Bloemendal (Bill), Jeff Thone (Sandie), Tim Thone (Michelle) and Paul Thone (Debbie); 12 great-grandchildren and by other family members. Marie was a proud retiree of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. and a devoted mother to Paul and Laura. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10 a.m. at the CHURCH OF SAINT MATTHEW, corner of Hall and Robie. Private interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass. A very special thank you to all the staff at the Ramsey Nursing Home! You are the best! To Helen and her granddaughter, thank you for brightening Marie?s days this past year. You are Marie?s special angels. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Ramsey Nursing Home.
