Marie Zimitsch

Marie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on December 13, 2020. She is survived by and will be dearly missed by those who survive her: son, Ken (Margie), John (Pam), Mary Gausman, Mark (Susann), Tom (Joy); grandchildren, Dan, Philip Wellman, Erik (Courtney Vanderheiden) Wellman, Tiffany (Tony) Anderson, Justin, Brian Gausman, Jessica (Matt) Johnson, Jonathan, Jaclyn, Matthew, Sarah (Steven) Petersen, Lauren, Timothy; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Ella, Alex; sister, Kay Timm. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Janet Wellman; siblings, Ted, Bob, Ed, Larry, Sister Matthias. Marie was a lifelong member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, and retired from North Central Life Insurance. She loved playing the piano and singing, and gathering with her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Thursday, December 17 at CHURCH OF ST. BERNARD, 187 Geranium Ave W with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Mayo Research or St. Bernard’s Church.
