Marilyn Jeanette Jensen
Loving wife, Devoted mother and Adoring grandmother
She and Delmar met in their early teens, and this began their 75-year love story. They would have been married 69 years this July. She loved sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She spent a great deal of time sewing for her girls and this included dresses, dance and skating costumes. These activities took much of her time when we were young. She later enjoyed knitting and crocheting many blankets for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Through the years Marilyn participated in multiple Chorales including the Port St. Lucie Chorale in Florida and the Immanuel Lutheran Church Choir during her time living in Illinois. Both Del and Marilyn, were able to share their talents in concerts throughout the world and appreciated the arts during their world travels.
Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially during holidays and special occasions. She loved playing games and cards with family, and she liked winning! Everyone enjoyed her company during these times.
