Marilyn J. Porter, age 78, of Appleton, died on Sunday, June 3, 2012 in Stillwater, Minnesota. The funeral service for Marilyn will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 East Glendale Avenue, Appleton. Rev. Daniel Thews will be officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton. A visitation will be held at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. A complete obituary will be in a future edition of the Post Crescent.
