Marion Swenson

Marion D. Swenson (Eggleston) of Burnsville, Minnesota, formerly of Devils Lake and Warwick, North Dakota passed away on April 5, 2019.
Marion was born May 1, 1932 in Hamar, North Dakota to Clifford and Dora Eggleston. She grew up in Warwick and married Charles Swenson on February 13, 1954. They made their home in Warwick until they moved to Devils Lake in 1983. Marion worked in the Warwick school cafeteria and was a bus driver for many years. After Charles passed away, Marion moved to Burnsville, Minnesota in 2009 to be closer to her children.
Marion is survived by son Kenneth, wife Maria, and grandchildren Dennis, Lise-Marie, Amanda, and Cecilia of Enkoping, Sweden; daughter Kerry of Denver, Colorado; son Karlin, wife Rachel, and grandchildren Cole and Mihiret of Lakeville, Minnesota; sisters-in-law Norma Eggleston, Joyce Eggleston, Kay Swenson; and many nieces and nephews who were special to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie, and brothers Harvey, Leslie, Floyd, and Marvin Eggleston.
Service Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 3:00PM with visitation beginning at 1:30PM at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 3131 Minnehaha Ave S. Mpls, MN. Additional service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11:00AM with visitation beginning at 10:00AM at Gilbertson Funeral Home, 509 US 2, Devils Lake, North Dakota.
