Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 14, 2021 at the age of 63. Preceded in death by mother, Delores Anderson. Survived by wife of 22 years, Laura, father Stanley Anderson, sister Mary Lucania, children, John (Emily) Anderson, Hannah Hafner, and Ryne Anderson, 1 granddaughter Lucy Anderson.
Mark’s big smile matched his equally big heart. His warm personality drew people in with ease no matter their age. He so enjoyed his Chicago Cubs and Bears even when he knew they were going to suck that year because of rotten trades and poor management. The highlight of his life was seeing the Cubs finally win the World Series in 2016 after waiting so many years. He still has the Cubs calendar from that year in his wallet!
Other interests were cooking highlighted by his recent chili cook-off win at our annual office competition. He enjoyed travel, old time jazz music with Bix Beiderbecke being one of his favorites and his knowledge of history was astounding. Mark was thrilled to become a grandfather. Lucy was the apple of his eye.
