Mark Clarence Nyman (St Martin)
Survived by the love of his life, Jeanne. Also survived by his children Alyssa (Jon), Brett, and Alison; sisters Maureen (Mark) McElroy, Patty (Steve) Winkler, and Trish (Tony) Johnson; as well as nephews and nieces: Rick, Ryan, Roni, Logan, Carly, Gracie, James and Sarah. Mark was preceded by loving mother Margery Ann (Williams) St Martin and father James L. Nyman.

Born June 7, 1951 in St Paul, MN. Graduated Hill H.S. 1969, graduated U of M Carlson School of Management 1973.

He had an illustrious career with Medtronic and Boston Scientific. He was a pioneer in treating cardiac arrhythmias with implantable devices, being involved in the first implants in St Paul, and developing lasting friendships with many of the surgeons.

Mark enjoyed life to the fullest with an adventurous spirit that could not be stopped. He appreciated the grandeur of the mighty oak and the intricate detail of the dragonfly; his eyes were always open to the joys of living. He held dear his family, and his friendships, many for over 50 years. Mark loved making life fun, creating memories for all in his company. Nothing pleased him more than bringing joy to the people he loved.

He traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, including a two-month adventure vacation with Jeanne when they were first married.

Mark Clarence Nyman b: 6-7-1951 Passed away 9-6-2017, 10 years after receiving a double lung transplant. His beloved wife was by his side; surrounded by friends, and his sisters Patty and Trish.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Memorial Service Monday, Sept. 25th, 2017 at 5:30PM with visitation starting at 4PM at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater.
