Dynneson Marlyn L., Sr.
Of Mpls, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 25, 2017 at the age of 78. Marlyn was a proud '57' Teddie graduate from Roosevelt High School. Marlyn a Master Mason belonged to Minnehaha Lodge No 165. He also was a member of the Lions Club, Mpls Eagles #34 & MN Street Rod Association for many years. Marlyn worked alongside his dad Martin to continue the family business Dynneson & Son Construction. Marlyn left his signature mark across the Mpls area with his kustom creations. You could count on Marlyn for a daily joke, a toothpick behind his ear, a carpenters pencil in his pocket and a camera in tow. He spent his weekends with his family singing in the car while driving to their next adventure. He made a friend everywhere he went with Lor-du by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Lorna; children, Marcy(Kevin)Baker, Maria(Jim)Gruenwald, Michelle Dynneson, Marty(Mike)Geldert, Marlyn Jr.(Jessica)Dynneson; and 13 grandchildren Alicia, Brandon, Jenna, Megan, Kasey, Travis, Angela, Lane, Maren, Sydney, Jensen, Berit & Olivia. Funeral Service, Saturday, September 30 at 5:30pm at BRADSHAW 3131 Minnehaha Ave., with visitation beginning at 4:30pm. Reception to follow service. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
