Haack, Marr T.
Marr Thomas Haack, of North Hudson, Wisconsin, died January 23, 2008, at the age of 65. Marr lived life with intensity and integrity, and he easily drew both respect and laughter from those around him. Born in Algoma, WI, Marr spent much of his life in Stillwater, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elroy and Gwendolyn Haack, and his brother, Timothy Haack. Marr is survived by his wife Shellie Rindal-Haack ; children, Christopher (Lisa Ramos) Haack and Valerie Lind; step-children, Shannon Kohl and Bryan Kohl; grandchildren, Aedan and Ellynor Haack and Justin Kohl; and numerous friends. He was a longtime employee of The St Paul Companies and also worked at USF&G and CNA insurance companies. Marr had a passion for many things, including golf, reading, history, travel, witty banter, the Packers and telling stories over red wine with friends. He was a loving, fun and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. A Celebration of Marr?s life will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 3 PM with a Gathering of friends one hour prior at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Memorials preferred to The Marr T. Haack Legacy Fund, which will support The Arcola Mills Historic Foundation.
