Marsha Jean Kohler

92 years old. Preceded in death by husband Robert, son Richard, daughter Kathleen, and grand daughter Melissa Meyers.

Survived by daughter Patricia (Frederic) Alver, son Robert Kohler Jr. (Theresa), daughter Diane Kohler (Jan Nord), and daughter Susan Meyers. (12) grandchildren: Jay, Jim, Angela, Simon, Robert, Chris, Daniel , Rachael, Katie, Michael, David, Adam and Mary Rose. (21) great grand children:  Gage, Drew, Lexi, Gabby, MacKenna, Chase, Max, Marcella, Charlotte, Andrew, Alex, Lucy, Charlie, Claire, Liam, Jack, Jaden, Owen, Cole, Emma Rose and Miles. (2) great great grand children:  Jase and Livia. Sister Patricia Gelbmann, and many nephews and nieces.

Marsha met her true love Bob, at Mechanic Arts High School in 1946. Marsha a cheer leader, Bob a basketball star.  Marsha and Bob were married 59 years  and raised six children.  Marsha has lived in St. Paul, Woodbury, White Bear Lake and Maplewood. The last three and a half years she has resided in assisted living at Carefree, Maplewood.  Marsha enjoyed reading, poetry, singing, painting, knitting, embroidery, sewing, bingo, and family outings. Marsha was full of life and didn’t let a stroke or broken bones hold her back. Marsha always had a smile and wanted to hear your story of what was going on in your life.

Mass and Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at St. Pius X, 3878 Highland Ave., White Bear Lake, MN 55110, (651-429-5337), Visitation 10 AM, Mass 11AM, Luncheon 12, Burial 2PM Forest Lawn, 1800 Edgerton, St. Paul, MN 55117 (612-776-6420).
