Marshelle “Shelley” T. Hunt

Age 74, of Webster, WI, formerly of Maplewood, MN, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2021.  Preceded in death by parents, Donald and Ariel Jirik; and sister-in-law, Shelly Jirik.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 55 years, Gary; children Chris (Lisa), Jim (Carrie), and Lea (Steve) Banovetz; grandchildren, Alicia (Joe) Barbato, Abbie, Joel, William, and Raelyn Hunt, Jack and Quinn Banovetz; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Elowen Hunt; brothers, Denny (Ann) and Rick Jirik; nieces, nephews, and other cherished in-laws and friends.

Shelley was born in St. Paul and lived most of her life in Maplewood.  Shelley married her high school sweetheart, Gary, on October 9, 1965. She earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology and was an Educator and Administrator at Metropolitan State University.  After she retired, Shelley and Gary moved to Webster, WI to enjoy the quiet lake life. The simplest pleasures brought great joy to Shelley, including spending time with family, a good laugh and reading.

A celebration of Shelley’s life will be Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 2:00-6:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater.

Memorials preferred, and will be donated to shelley's favorite charities.
