Martha Cull

d. September 10, 2013

Preceded in death by parents Howard and Corinne MacMillin, brother Norman MacMillin, husband David J. Cull and son Todd Cull. Martha provided more than 30 years service in the preservation of the history, culture and architecture of Historic West Main Street in downtown Louisville, KY where she served as an unpaid preservationist, researcher, teacher, tour guide, visitor center director and volunteer coordinator until her "retirement" in 2008. Without Martha, Main Street certainly would not be the vibrant and welcoming place that it is today. Martha is survived by brothers Robert (Edna) MacMillin and David (Mary) MacMillin; children Meredith (Don) Fair, Jeffrey (Maxine) Cull, Andrew (Becky) Cull and Susan Mudd; grandchildren Kelly, Matthew, Seth, Garret, Graham, and Erin; and 5 great grandchildren. She was known for her positive attitude, smile and graciousness. Services will be at The Church of the Advent, 901 Baxter Ave, Louisville KY at 11 am September 19, 2013 with visitation and reception to follow. Memorials to the Main Street Association, 101 N 7th St, Louisville KY 40202 or The Church of the Advent are suggested.
