Martha Kriesel

Martha Ann Kriesel (nee Clark)

Age 69, died suddenly of heart failure on November 23, 2012 while with her family and her much loved grandchildren in Williams, AZ to ride on the "Polar Express" train to the North Pole to see Santa. Martha's passing happened shortly after the train ride was completed.

Martha was born in St. Paul, MN on August 6, 1943 and lived in Lakeland, MN during her school years. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1961. Martha worked for 3M from 1961 until her retirement in 1999.

Martha married Nile Kriesel of Stillwater in 1964, and they were blessed with two great and lovely children, daughter Kim and son Chance. Martha was also blessed with two adorable and much loved grandchildren, Colton and Charlie Ruth.

Martha's family and friends would tell you that she was a beautiful woman who loved her family very much. They would also tell you that she never hesitated to help others, and she was never heard to say a bad word about anybody. She was a tireless worker at home and at her job. She was the foundation of her loving husband Nile's life and career, and she was also an unwavering supporter of her children, Kim and Chance.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Ruth Clark and brother Rolland.
Martha is survived by her husband Nile, daughter Kimberly Ann Kriesel (Mark), son Chance (Kimberly Courtney) and grandchildren Colton and Charlie Ruth. She is also survived by brothers Garfield (Sharon) and Keith (Jan) and sisters Mary Lynne Hinz (Donald) and Jennifer (Roy) Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Martha's Life will be held at ST. CROIX VALLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 16600 7th Street South, Lakeland, MN, at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Private Interment. Visitation at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater, MN. from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, November 30, 2012, and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials preferred to donor's choice in lieu of flowers.
