Passed away peacefully on August 1, 2016
Preceded in death by wife, Valora; brother, Robert Gieseke; and sister, Edna Huggett. He will be sadly missed by children, Mark (Karen), Lynn Olson, and Todd (Dawn); grandchildren, Jenna (Josh) Goldberg, Benjamin (Elizabeth) Gieseke, Ryan Olson, Kelly (Isaiah) Ryman and Katie Gieseke; sisters, Bernice Werdin and Helen Plott. Born in Janesville, MN, Marvin was an engineer at MNDOT and retired after 40 years of employment. He was an active member of Vinje Lutheran Church and the Noon Lions Club in Wilmar. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather. A celebration of Marvin's life will be Monday, August 8, 2016 at 5:30 P.M. with visitation beginning at 4:00 P.M.at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Memorials are preferred to Vinje Lutheran Church.
