Mary Dornfeld

Passed on suddenly November 15, 2003 at her beloved home in Crosslake, MN. Daughter of Thomas and Frances Avery, Cedar Falls, Iowa who preceded her in death. Survived by her husband, Earl W. of Crosslake, MN; children, Debra and her husband, Robert Wenger of St. Francis, MN, Diane and her husband Mark Mattingly of Ellsworth, WI, Douglas of Stillwater, MN, and Eric and his wife Amy of Oak Park Heights, MN. Survived too by her pride and joy, 8 grandchildren: Erica, Jennifer, Daniel, Caroline, Ian, Chelsea, Ryan and Aaron. Survived by brother, Richard Avery and his wife, Betty of Huntington Beach, CA; sisters, Elizabeth and her husband Stanley Straight, of Davenport, IA, and Helen and her husband Robert DeBoer of Cedar Falls, IA; inlaws, Mary Becker, Richard (Joan) Dornfeld, and Clarence (Dona) Dornfeld; also many relatives from coast to coast. She was especially fond of her two close friends, Harriet Schatzberg of Waterloo, IA and Grace McAvoy of Stillwater; and will be lovingly remembered by close church friends and many others who have had the privilege of knowing her, especially those in the Stillwater, Brainerd/Crosslake, Iowa and Two Harbors, MN area. Services Thursday, November 20, 2003 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 No. Fourth St., Stillwater, 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00 PM at the church. Private interment. Memorials preferred to Clifton House.
